Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 9, 2026
SnapMerge is a source-pixel best take photo merger. This policy explains how uploaded photos, merged results, and server processing work in the first version.
Photos you upload
SnapMerge uploads your selected photos directly to private temporary object storage. The Best Take route reads them into server memory for normalization, landmark analysis, and compositing, then requests deletion after the processing attempt. Abandoned temporary uploads are covered by scheduled cleanup. Do not upload private IDs, sensitive documents, or photos you do not have permission to process.
Best Take processing
SnapMerge analyzes face landmarks on the server, chooses real expressions from the uploaded frames, and aligns those source pixels into one selected layout. The Best Take flow does not send photos to a generative image provider or generate new face pixels.
Merged results
Merged results are stored in a private SnapMerge storage bucket and returned through signed URLs. Stored results and any temporary uploads left behind by an interrupted request are scheduled for deletion after 7 days.
Analytics and cookies
If analytics, payment, or security services are configured, they may process standard web request data such as page views, browser type, approximate region, device type, and performance signals.
